The Meisenthal Christmas bauble sold from 26 euros
The Meisenthal Christmas bauble, vintage 2024, is sold from 26 euros (against 24 euros the previous year). Furthermore, it costs 29 euros for the red ball.
Why this increase of 2 euros? “The fare increase had already been implemented in April this year, in order to compensate for the significant increase in energy costsin particular our gas-powered melting furnaces,” the CIAV tells us.
Discuss the issues of global warming through the Christmas ball
The Kaktus Christmas ball (measuring 80 mm/95 mm) was designed by the German designer Mark Brownsensitive to issues linked to global warming.
“I quickly wished that the Christmas ball that I was going to imagine could, in the future, bear witness to current times and discuss questions related to the challenges of global warming,” he explains in an interview with CIAV.
He created Kaktus by imagining a future Christmas in our latitudes which would see the cacti replace our traditional fir treesaccording to the CIAV. A way to “raise awareness with humor”.
