PREMATCH

Minnesota is having a lot of success with a record of 10-2-3 in 15 games this season.
And nothing to reassure the Habs, the team has not won in Minnesota since 2011, a series of 10 consecutive defeats on the Wild’s ice. Montreal has also lost its last six games against the Wild.
The last time CH won in Minnesota, the team won 8-1 and PK Subban scored a hat trick.
The Wild can count on the second best scorer in the NHL in Kirill Kaprizov, author of nine goals and 28 points this season.
In the Canadiens camp, Cole Caufield sits at the top of the NHL scorers with 12 goals this season, as many as Sam Reinhart, Leon Draisaitl, William Nylander and Mikko Rantanen.
The Wild announced that Filip Gustavsson would be the team’s starting goaltender, rather than Quebecer Marc-André Fleury.
Gustavsson has a 2.27 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage this season.
