Moriville. A fire breaks out on Rue Haute, around thirty firefighters mobilized

This Thursday morning, around 4:30 a.m., a family living at 4 rue Haute was awakened by crackling sounds.

And for good reason, a fire was in progress in the shed adjoining their house. The fire quickly grew and spread to the home. The family evacuated the scene with their two children and alerted the emergency services.

Around thirty firefighters and thirteen vehicles were quickly engaged, under the orders of Commander Roubache. Coming mainly from Gerbéviller, Lunéville, Blainville-sur-l'Eau, Bayon and Haroué, they put out the flames with 4 lances engaged, including one on a large scale. A drone team from the Nancy-Gentilly center was also present.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other homes. An LPG vehicle had to be extracted to avoid any risk.

The family was able to find refuge in the village hall.

During the operation, the Blainville-sur-l'Eau gendarmerie was on site to regulate traffic but also to begin the investigation which will determine the causes of the fire, which did not cause any injuries.
