The campaign for Yes in the constitutional referendum on Saturday November 16 continues in full swing in the province of Ngounié. Malinga and the entire Louétsi-Bibaka department are not left out. There, it is Philippe Nzengue Mayila who is responsible for convincing the populations to choose to adopt the draft Constitution submitted to them.

To do this, the departmental coordinator opted for a local campaign, meeting the inhabitants of each of the towns and discussing with each person seeking their clarification on this or that aspect of the new Constitution. For Philippe Nzengue Mayila, the objective is, initially, to make people aware of the need to vote massively in this referendum election; and secondly, to make this Constitution truly accessible, including by translating its main provisions into the vernacular language.

Having entered the field with all the members of his coordination for several days, the former deputy and current president of the Board of Directors of the National Center for University Works (CNOU) is keen to explain to his “parents» the merits of voting Yes on Saturday. He did not fail to list the main reasons for this choice, ranging from respect for Gabon’s traditional values to the limitation of presidential terms. He also intends to continue, until Friday November 15, the door-to-door strategy initiated for the benefit of elderly populations throughout the department.
