In Fécamp, a coach catches fire with around thirty children and adults from the IME on board

All that remains is a completely charred carcass. Thursday, November 14, 2024, around 8:30 a.m., a coach carrying around thirty children and adults from the Medical-Educational Institute (IME) of Fécamp, accompanied by an educator, caught fire near the hospital .

His driver was able to park him on Avenue du Président François-Mitterrand as soon as she saw smoke coming from the back of the vehicle. Children and adults were quickly evacuated. The educator immediately accompanied them on foot to the IME. No injuries were reported.

Traffic disrupted

Quickly followed a very strong release of acrid smoke visible several hundred meters away.
