Two little aliens have just arrived at the brand new House of Ecological Transitions (MTE), located at 1 bis allée de Corrèze in Colomiers. These two “brifons” are creations by Nicolas Barrome-Forgues.
In 2018, as part of the “drawn walks”, the artist created a trompe-l’oeil fresco on the former house of the barrier guard, today also called the Marie Odile Bertrand space. This colorful and attractive urban painting featuring vegetables and humanoid animals was a great success. This is why the municipality decided to preserve and renovate it.
It is a strong element of identity of the new house of ecological transitions in the city of Colomiers.
It is therefore quite natural that the town commissioned two characters from the artist so that they could be used to convey the messages of this new eco-place to all audiences.
The only problem is that these new mascots still don’t have first names.
Little Columérins are therefore invited, until the end of November, to come to the MTE, color the “brifons” and find a little name for them. Gifts are up for grabs.
At the start of 2025, the two mascots will be the heroes of an Escape game to raise awareness of eco-friendly gestures in the new Marie-Odile Bertrand space “Le Défi des Bifrons”.
