Police forces sealed off a neighborhood in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon this Wednesday, November 13. An armed robbery and explosives took place around 7 p.m. in a gold buyback shop on the Franklin-Roosevelt course, according to our information confirming that of BFM Lyon.
A police source on site confirms to our editorial staff that explosives were placed on the window. The latter were neutralized after a mine clearance operation. Two exits of metro A were closed urgently.
Suspect tries to steal gold armed with explosives
At least one armed individual broke into a gold buying store, equipped with explosives, according to our colleagues at BFM TV. The criminal allegedly tried to steal the gold stored in the store.
The suspect is on the run. For the moment, we have neither information on his loot, nor on a possible arrest by the police.
