France Travail and Ifocop join forces to launch the Atout Senior program. The objective is to help people over 50 find work.
Finding a job after 50 can seem like a big obstacle. So to lend a helping hand to people over 50 looking for work, Ifocop, which presents itself as a training organization created to improve the employability of employees and job seekers, as well as France Travail launch the Atout Senior program. The latter allows job seekers to train through immersion in a company.

Launched in September in Île-de-France, Atout Senior is currently the subject of a one-year experimental program.
The primary objective of this module is to put 1,000 unemployed seniors back into employment through a retraining program. The latter consists of four months of theoretical training, followed by an internship of the same duration for practical application in a company.
In total, Atout Senior offers 22 certified training courses, linked to tertiary support professions, such as: management controller, accountant, HR assistant, real estate negotiator, department manager, business development manager, etc.
Expand the system to other regions
By integrating this system, the trainee must pay 25% of the cost of the training, with the possibility of using their CPF (personal training account).
But he must also find the company that will welcome him. The latter will have to finance the remaining 75%. If within a year the results are satisfactory, the experiment could be extended to other regions.
This model, already proposed by the Ifocop organization, has already proven itself, with a favorable rate of return to employment, six months after the end of the program.
Hence the desire to now offer it to people aged 50 and over. The role of France Travail, for its part, will be to find the candidates.
