Gregg Broughton Takes Reins as Athletic Director at Chicago Fire

In an exciting turn of events, Gregg Broughton officially took the position of Sports Director within Chicago Fire FC en Major League .

After leaving Blackburn Rovers Amid a significant restructuring at Ewood Park last summer, Broughton’s new venture marks his return to the forefront of management. During his two years at Rovers, he played a key role in shaping the club’s football strategy, and this new chapter represents his first major role since leaving.

Although Broughton has engaged in consultancy work during his time away from the field, he is now ready to commit fully to his new role on the other side of the Atlantic.

Following Broughton’s departure, the Rovers have wasted no time restructuring their football operations, appointing Rudy Gestede as the new Head of Football, while Adam Owen was appointed Technical Manager.
