Very quickly, it was revealed that the young girl was killed by a 24-year-old woman of Algerian origin illegally in France, Dahbia B.

The only suspect in this case, the alleged culprit who was taken into custody two days after the murder of the teenager, was already known to the police for acts of domestic violence. At the end of a long investigation, the Paris prosecutor's office has delivered its verdict, Dahbia B. will finally be judged in a trial before the assizes for ” murder accompanied by rape, torture or barbaric act”. An indictment revealed by RMC which had clearly highlighted the intention of the alleged culprit to kill the teenager when she had been the subject of a “surge of violence» both physical and sexual in a “obvious logic of humiliation».

A family totally destroyed by the loss of their daughter and sister

In recent years, the teenager's relatives had preferred to remain in the shadows as this affair had been an insurmountable tragedy. A sentence which alone sums up the immense guilt felt by the young man as well as this intense emotional charge, made both of regret and inexpressible pain.
