Around thirty firefighters intervened during the night of Monday 11 to Tuesday 12 November 2024 in Yvré-le-Pôlin, in the south of Sarthe. A pavilion was completely destroyed by a fire, without causing any casualties.

It was almost midnight on the night of Monday 11 to Tuesday 12 November 2024, when firefighters were called to intervene on the fire in a house, located in the town of Yvré-le-Pôlin, in the south of Sarthe. Fortunately purely material, the damage is nevertheless significant.
According to the first elements collected on site, the fire started from the garage, before spreading to the roof which collapsed on this part of the 200 m pavilion.2. “The owners have been relocated”indicates the mayor of the town, Catherine Donné.
Twenty-nine firefighters, from the emergency centers of Cérans-Foulletourte, Yvré-le-Pôlin, Le Mans Degré, Le Mans Sud, and Parigné-le-Pôlin were mobilized.
