Gary Lineker to leave BBC Football show 'Match of The Day' at end of season

Last week, Lineker, who turns 64 at the end of the month, told the magazine Esquire that he should « slow down at some point » and hinted that he might look to focus full-time on his hit podcast, The Rest Is Football. According to the English press, however, he should continue to appear on the BBC until the 2026 World Cup.
