The Météo France bulletin :

During the morning of this Tuesday, slow storms formed at sea and brought rain to nearby coastlines. The intensities are of the order of 20-30mm/h in an East13 and West83 coastal zone and can last several hours.

During the afternoon, the high intensities shift offshore and the rain loses intensity over a large part of the region. They end up stopping during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

For the entire event, the expected cumulative rainfall is 15-30mm and up to 50-80mm possible in places between East Coast 13 and West Coast 83.

Faced with the risks associated with this alert, the prefect of Bouches-du-Rhône reiterates the precautionary instructions:

– Limit your movements.

– Do not walk or drive on a road that is even partially submerged.

– Do not approach watercourses or areas usually flooded.

– Do not go down into basements or cellars.

– Monitor the situation by consulting vigicrues.gouv.fr

– Stay informed and listen to instructions from the authorities in the media (France bleu) and on social networks by following the official accounts (Météo-France, social networks of the prefect of Bouches-du-Rhône),

– In case of emergency, contact 112 or 18. Deaf and hard of hearing people can contact 114 from a computer by going tocall.urgence114.fr

The prefect of Bouches-du-Rhône calls for everyone to be vigilant and asks particular attention to motorists and if you practice activities sensitive to these weather risks or near a shore or a watercourse.
