Last week, Damian Priest won a Fatal 4-Way against Seth Rollins, Sheamus and Dominik Mysterio. A victory which allows him to have a title match against Gunther, World Heavyweight champion since SummerSlam.
During WWE RAW on November 11, 2024, WWE formalized the match for the World Heavyweight championship between Gunther and Damian Priest for Survivor Series 2024. The former champion, having lost his belt against Gunther, will therefore be entitled to his rematch during of WWE’s next PLE.
A few weeks ago, rumors were circulating about a potential match between Gunther and CM Punk at Survivor Series 2024. However, WWE seems to have opted in another direction for an as yet unknown reason. CM Punk has not made an appearance since the RAW following Bad Blood, where he faced and defeated Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match.
WWE Survivor Series 2024 takes place on Saturday November 30 and we will experience it together on Twitch.
