The work of the Phare de Port-Cartier reintegration resource was recognized at the Prospère awards gala, organized by the Quebec Employers’ Council.
Initially, the company was nominated in the diversity and inclusion employer category. It was ultimately the Domtar company that won. However, an additional Coup de cœur award in the diversity and inclusion employer category was awarded by the members of the jury to the Phare Reintegration Resource.
“We would like to warmly thank the Conseil du patronat du Québec for this recognition. It constitutes an encouragement to continue our efforts to offer a respectful, inclusive and rewarding work environment, where each individual can flourish and contribute fully to collective success,” wrote Le Phare in a publication on social networks.
Within this social economy company based in Port-Cartier, more than 80% of employees live with functional limitations, whether physical, mental or intellectual.
