This Sunday, November 10, 2024, the localities of the province of Moyen-Ogooué, more particularly that of Biweni-Diala canton vibrated to the rhythm of the referendum campaign. Indeed, the provincial coordination for yes led by Seraphin Akure Davain, Professor Hervé Ndoume Essingone, Paul Marie Gondjout, Jeanine Roboty wife Mbou and Martin Mabala went into contact with the populations of this locality in order to educate them on the importance of the vote on November 16 which constitutes a decisive turning point for the future of Gabon.
As the fateful day inexorably approaches, the campaign for the referendum, the vote for which is scheduled for November 16, is going well, particularly among the yes supporters. The proof, in the Biweni-Diala canton where the members of the provincial coordination for yes and several other personalities of the region were keen to contact the populations to educate them on the issues of this meeting.
The advantages of the draft Constitution presented to the Biweni-Diala canton
During this meeting which was intended to be civic, the adoption of a new Constitution being the path traced to ensure the political, economic and social future of a country, the various speakers returned at length to the advantages which abound this draft fundamental law. Thus, during his intervention, Professor Hervé Ndoume Essingone recalled that this draft Constitution was developed in the interest of the Gabonese population.
Among the advances, we can cite among others the establishment of a presidential regime, the limitation of mandates, the strengthening of fundamental rights, the consideration of social issues which constitute major concerns for the populations. A message which was received with fervor among the young people of the Biweni-Diala canton who expressed their desire to vote favorably for the draft Constitution.
It must be said that this descent of members of the national coordination for yes led by the honorable Seraphin Akure Davain, Professor Hervé Ndoume Essingone will have experienced great enthusiasm thanks to the multifaceted support of a son of the Biweni-Diala canton , present during the meeting. The latter, who is not his first action, has also received encouragement from members of the coordination for his involvement during the meeting with the populations.
