A man was burned alive last night in Pau in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. An investigation has been opened.
On the night of Sunday 10 to Monday 11 November 2024, a dramatic event occurred in the Ousse-des-Bois district, in Pau, rue des Bougainvilliers. A man has died in tragic circumstances. He burned to death after a fire broke out in his vehicle, despite attempts by local residents to help, announce our colleagues from France Bleu Béarn.
The events occurred around 3 a.m.
Around 3 a.m., witnesses reported the fire to emergency services after seeing a car engulfed in flames with a man inside.
Alerted by neighbors, the firefighters quickly went to the scene. When they arrived, several residents had already removed the victim from the vehicle. Despite efforts to rescue him, the man sadly died at the scene, leaving many questions unanswered.
