This new feature of ChatGPT Advanced Voice provides functionality to create a clip and send it to other users.
OpenAI has just made a nice update to its ChatGPT Advanced Voice feature. Now users will be able to share a preview of a conversation with other people and on social networks.
ChatGPT Voice, a new ultra-practical feature
When I spoke with OpenAI's voice assistant, I found that it allows you to boost creativity. For example, I asked him to perform a scene from Romeo and Juliet where the AI played one role as a real Shakespearean actor and the other as a schoolboy.
Furthermore, his response could also constitute a perfect solution to share an AI-generated explanation. It is especially very useful with a group of students or a colleague.
Remember that the new voice sharing functionality is accessible on desktop and mobile versions of ChatGPT. Indeed, this is one of its greatest advantages, since it is possible to use Advanced Voice at any time.
Note that the functionality is not yet available on the Web version of ChatGPT.
Share a voice clip with ChatGPT Advanced Voice? What are the steps to follow?
Before, when you wanted to share a conversation you were having with this OpenAI Voice Assistant, you had to choose between two options : film the phone with another device or enable screen recording.
These two options were possible and can be the best choice at all times. Indeed, this is limited to short clips. However, screen recording does not always adequately capture microphone input.
The first step therefore consists of start a voice chat with AI so you can share a preview of your conversation. Once you are completely satisfied with what has been said, you can open a new sharing window. To do this, you need to click on the up arrow located on the top right corner.
Once this window is open, you can tap the part of the conversation to the point you want to share. Once you are satisfied, you can click on “Share”. Then you will have the choice between two options: share on social networks or save as a video.
I think this update, as minor as it is, shows OpenAI's relentless commitment to voice as a means of communication with ChatGPT.
And you ? What do you think? Will this update help you or not? Do not hesitate to share your opinion in the comments so that you can discuss it with other readers.
