“Justice will have the last word”: Sébastien Peytavie still does not take sides on Beynac’s deviation

Sébastien Peytavie still not commenting on the Beynac deviation. Almost a week later the signing by the prefect of Dordogne, Jean-Sébastien Lamontagne, of a decree to authorize the second project supported by the Departmental Council, Sébastien Peytavie, was the guest ofHere morning on Blue Périgord this Monday, November 11.

The New Popular Front MP for Périgord Noir affirms that it is necessary “wait until all appeals are completed to find out whether the project can be carried out or not. The series is far from over, it will certainly take years before we know what it is. The prefect said based on the recommendations of the State, which gives the final decision to the courts.

The MP does not respond, he just sends questions back

Opponents will file appeals to contest the order signed by the prefect. In front, Germinal Peiro has announced that he is going to court to request the annulment of the court decision which forces the Department to destroy the work already started. “I believe that we cannot go against a court decision. So it is justice which will have the last word”repeats Sébastien Peytavie again, an answer that he had already given several times, notably during the legislative elections of 2022.

Should this deviation be made? The MP does not respondit just returns questions. “There are lots of issues, because there are problems at the Beynac crossing for a few weeks, especially in the summer. Now, are these the only solutions or not? Is this project falls within the rules? Can it continue? Will the courts be able to give an agreement?
