Super Nintendo World Direct: heading to the Donkey Kong jungle tonight
Nintendo is meeting us this evening at 11 p.m. (French time) for a Super Nintendo World Direct dedicated to the highly anticipated Donkey Kong Country zone. Broadcast live on YouTube, this 10-minute presentation will immerse us in the heart of the extension dedicated to the famous gorilla and its lush jungle world.
This is the brand new area that has been under construction for several months at Universal Studios Japan's Super Nintendo World park.
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Direct (Donkey Kong Country) 11.11.2024
Nintendo France indicates that the “French” version of this video will be available tomorrow morning, at 9 a.m.:
An ambitious project for the Donkey Kong universe
This new thematic area, initially announced in 2021, promises total immersion in the world of Donkey Kong.
This expansion will offer its share of new attractions, restaurant areas and unmissable new shops, adding approximately 70% additional surface area to the Super Nintendo World area. First planned for spring 2024, various delays forced Nintendo and Universal to postpone its opening to the second half of 2024.
This Live should allow us to know the opening date of this new area of the park, and to find out more about the attractions, the settings and the experience offered in this lush jungle.
Just in case: no, no game announcements planned
Nintendo wanted to clarify that no announcement related to a video game will be made during this presentation. The Live will focus exclusively on Donkey Kong Country within the park. You thought you had information about the Donkey Kong remake planned for Switch in early 2025, well that will be for another time!
See you this evening at 11 p.m.!
You can follow this presentation live on YouTube and discover all the surprises that this new area of Super Nintendo World has in store.
