On this day which commemorates the end of the Great War (1914-1918), there is a bit of a change in the weather. Indeed, even if pressures remain high, a depression circulating in the North Sea heading towards Denmark will push a weakened disturbance onto our regions. We tell you everything and take a look at what the coming week has in store for us.

Precipitation associated with our disturbance is in the form of a line of light rain arriving from the northwest and heading southeast. This line travels quite quickly, since at midday, the light rain leaves us via the south of Aisne. Behind, the sky is clearing and a very active trailing sky will set in. It’s the wind that will be noticed today. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a noticeable wind. This is the case on this Monday. Located in the north, northwest, it is moderate to fairly strong on the coast, while it remains weak to moderate inland.
The afternoon keeps this trailing sky not very active, we will be able to benefit from nice clearings, but also some not very bad showers, which will descend into this weakening northerly flow. The wind remains a little stronger in the coastal area.
And the temperatures ?
9°C is what Météo France announces early in the morning on the coast, in the interior count on a range going from 4°C in Maubeuge, to 8°C in Tourcoing.
The maximums remain the same as yesterday with 10 to 13°C.
Mardi : Two phenomena, the first with the anticyclone which will position itself over Ireland and which will send us a pocket of milder air, but the second is at altitude, it is a cold drop, it will tangent by the is in the region. The two phenomena combined will give showers in the morning on the coast but also on the east of Hauts-de-France, then, with the shift in the cold air at altitude, the rains will then sweep the entire region the following day. -noon. The northeast wind will blow moderately, it will sometimes even be quite strong. If the minimums remain mild, 6 to 10°C from the interior towards the coast, the maximums will decrease with 8 to 13°C following the same distribution.
Wednesday : After the morning gray has dissipated, the sky will be decorated with high clouds of varying thickness, they may from time to time give a few drops. Still located in the northeast, the wind will be weak. The thermometers will drop : 4 to 7°C for minimums, 6 to 8°C for maximums in the interior, barely more on the coast.
Until next Sunday, starting this Thursday, the confidence index is only 2 out of 5.
THURSDAY : Not much to report since we will be protected by high pressures at all levels. The color of the sky will therefore be determined by the humidity present at low level. Let’s remain optimistic by counting on a dry day, with clearings, and a light wind. The temperatures are getting cooler and cooler, as Météo France mentions the possibility of the first white frosts in the interior with minimums of 1 to 3°C. On the coast it will be 6°C. As for the maximums, like the day before they will show 6 to 8°C but up to 11°C by the sea.
Friday : This is the beginning of the end of anticyclonic conditions. In fact, the anticyclone will shift towards the continent while weakening. However, we will normally enjoy calm weather under more or less cloudy skies. The minimums should reach the lowest values over the period, with 0 to 2°C in the interior, and 4 or 5°C on the coast. The maximums will not move.
SATURDAY : Anticyclonic conditions are over. A low pressure minimum will rise over the near Atlantic bringing more and more clouds throughout the day and perhaps rain in the evening (arrival of a disturbance). The wind will shift to the southwest and will be weak to moderate. The minimums will be 2 to 5°C, the maximums will rise to 10 to 12°C.
Sunday : The disturbance that arrived the day before will circulate during the night, the weather during the day on Sunday will remain cloudy with a few showers, but another deterioration is emerging for the evening, and should be more marked. The wind will probably strengthen with the arrival of this new disturbance. We will appreciate the nice rise of the mini with 6 and 7°C, no change on the max side.
Good news from ATMO Hauts-de-France ! On Monday, November 11, air quality should be good over most of the region, and average over the southeast, thanks to stronger winds which will promote the dispersion of local emissions of pollutants.
