MHSC- notes: Tamari man of the match, Khazri the pleasant surprise, Sagnan not in the game

Jean-Louis Gasset's MHSC woke up to return to victory at the expense of (3-1) on Sunday November 10 at La Mosson. An awakening as much in attack as in defense under the effect of the renewal of the executives.

Everyone expected change. He is finally here, he saw himself on all sides in this victory (3-1) in front of Brest on Sunday in a La Mosson stadium transfigured by the support of the public. Down for three matches, the attackers: Nordin, Khazri and Coulibaly scored the three goals. And the defense, around its decisive goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte, gave positive signals within a team initially organized in 4-2-3-1.

Lecomte (7) : A goalkeeper who counts. He made many decisive saves in the second half and saved 's victory. He makes a double save on Sima (70th), then on Lees-Melou (70th), he lays down well on a half-volley from Magnetti (84th), before pushing away a header from Sima (90 + 3rd). Finally, he was precise in his kicking game.

Tchato (5): Tense in the first period, released after the break. Both in the defensive sector, but also offensive by being a good relay for Tamari, in front of him. He did what he had to do pretty well.

Maksimovich (5) : His error on the Breton goal marred his otherwise reassuring match. The Serbian recruit does not shine with his recovery, but displays authority on the defensive level. He makes a good interception (23rd), imposes his physique and his placement. Unfortunately, he clears his head into the axis which caused Martin's goal (50th).

Sagnan (4) : The left axial displayed a rare feverishness. At least in the first period. Short of form, due to a knee problem, he was often found wanting in his duels, but also in the restart. The truce comes at the right time for him.

Sylla (7): The Guinean finds his true face. He multiplied good crosses on the left side, the first causing the first penalty. Always right in the game, always well placed against Faivre. A reassuring match for him and his partners.

Ferri (6) : The midfielder had a serious match. He showed the necessary aggression and reassured with his ball catches. He even managed a recovery (28th) on a delivery from Adams. Following the exit of Adams, replaced by Touré (38th), he took care of Lees-Melou, the strong man from Brest.

Nzingoula (5) : A match in fits and starts. The young midfielder was valuable in his commitment, but at times lacked lucidity. And above all, he lost his nerve at the end of the first period, getting a little out of his game.

At Tamari the best note

Nordin (6) : A mixed match like his success on penalties. The first transformed (6th) and the second hit Bizot, the Breton goalkeeper. Furthermore, the ex-Stéphanois blended into the collective, but wasted two opportunities, on a snatched recovery (9th) and a serve from Khazri (48th). In the 72nd minute, he gave way to Maamma, author of an assist for Coulibaly's third goal.

Khazri (7) : The good surprise. Replaced as playmaker, he initially scored the second with a 20-meter free kick. The first of the season (12th) and his first since September 17, 2023. He was involved throughout in the defensive withdrawal, in the recovery work. He may simply regret the opportunity for the break in the 48th minute.

Tamari (8) : Man of the match. The winger is back. Established for the first time since the end of August, the Jordanian winger was involved in both goals. He initiates the action of the first goal, then causes the foul at the origin of Khazri's free kick. He causes Amavi's foul and the second penalty, unfortunately missed by Nordin (60th). Present in the withdrawal, inspired on each ball catch. He was replaced in the 73rd minute by Coulibaly, scorer of the third goal.

Adams (not rated): He managed a good first half hour before injuring his right thigh and being replaced by Touré (score: 6). Interesting in his discounts and the fight, he scored the 3-0 goal, refused for offside (30th). In a disrupted midfield, Touré was useful and effective.
