Brigitte Challande, 10 November 2024. Echoing the famous “Generals’ Plan” also known as the plan IslandAbu Amir describes precisely and concretely what is happening in the north of the Gaza Strip. I would like to point out that Abu Amir apologizes for the excessive number of texts and reports he sends us, but that he absolutely wants to keep readers informed of the catastrophic situation in Gaza!
“For the 399th day, the Israeli army continues to carry out incessant massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip, with its attacks rapidly focusing on the northern areas. The Israeli forces rely on a systematic strategy that targets everything that represents the pulse of the lives of the inhabitants of these areas, starting with hospitals and schools transformed into accommodation centers for the displaced, up to the centers of distribution of food and water wells that residents depend on to meet their basic needs.
In its quest to kill hope in the souls of northern Gaza residents, Israel targets all points that provide citizens with the minimum necessities of life. These attacks include the destruction of health facilities and basic service centers, with the aim of destroying civilian morale and forcing them to leave their homes and lands.
The Israeli army announced in an official statement that its forces were on the verge of completely evacuating the northern Gaza Strip, stressing that it would not allow residents to return to these areas, which it describes as ” dangerous combat zones.
Last Thursday, an official order was issued by the Israeli army calling on residents to evacuate the north of the Strip and head south, in an apparent attempt to forcibly displace the population under the pretext of military necessity. Israeli warnings were not limited to the north only, as the Israeli army issued a warning to residents of Gaza City, demanding the evacuation of areas such as the northern beach camp, the Nasr neighborhood, Al-Karamah town and Al-Awda town, saying they have also become dangerous combat zones.
It appears that the aim of these warnings is to broaden the scope of forced displacement to wider areas of the Gaza Strip, in a move aimed at emptying the city and the north of their inhabitants and causing a major demographic shift. in the region.
Beit Lahya, northern Gaza, early November 2024.
These measures blatantly defy all international laws and conventions that prohibit the forced displacement of civilians and consider it a war crime. Despite the legal clarity of this violation, the world is powerless to take a firm stance to stop what is happening in Gaza, so continued international silence remains a testament to the international community's inability to protect Palestinian civilians. This international silence gives Israel the green light to continue its massacres and genocide against Palestinian civilians, and reinforces the occupation's sense of immunity from accountability. In the absence of decisive responses from the international community, it appears that Israel views this silence as indirect support that allows it to commit the most heinous crimes against humanity, exploiting international inaction to achieve its expansionist goals. without deterrence or punishment.
What is happening in Gaza can only be described as an ethnic cleansing operation aimed at forcibly changing the demographic makeup of the region and forcing residents from their homes. This plan aims not only to empty the land of its inhabitants, but also to destroy the Palestinian national will and crush the spirit of perseverance that is still rooted in the hearts of the people of Gaza.
By targeting all aspects of life, Israel seeks to create a tragic reality that makes it difficult for Palestinians to stay or think about persevering. Despite the harshness of the scene, Palestinians continue to hold on to their land, asserting their right to stay and continue living despite all challenges. However, the scale of suffering is increasing to an unbearable level without real support from the international community.
History will record this moment with the blood of the Palestinians, and it will be remembered that the world failed them and left them to face their fate amid terrible international silence, watching idly as the suffering of innocent civilians dreamed of a secure life and a fundamental right to liberty. The question remains: how long will the world continue to watch from afar, without taking real action to end this human tragedy that is getting worse by the day? International silence not only expresses a betrayal of the Palestinian people, but also represents a deep wound in the conscience of all humanity, and there remains hope that the world will one day stand with truth and justice , to put an end to the tragedy of an entire people facing genocide and displacement on their lands. »
