War in Ukraine: 145 drones launched by Russia, “a record”, and nearly 70 on the Ukrainian side, the night from Saturday to Sunday was intense for anti-aircraft defenses

On the night of Saturday November 9 to Sunday November 10, Ukraine and Russia launched numerous drones, most of which were shot down by the respective air defenses.

It was an intense night for Russian and Ukrainian air defenses. Indeed, numerous drones were launched on both sides between this Saturday November 9 and Sunday November 10, going so far as to paralyze, on the Russian side, several airports in the Moscow region, indicates the media RBC Ukraine.

In detail, the Ukrainian press reports that the Russian army has launched nearly 145 drones, “a record”, of which 62 were reportedly destroyed in several regions of the country including Odessa, Kyiv and Donesk. Ten of them reportedly left Ukrainian airspace, continuing towards Belarus and Moldova.

On site, the damage would be primarily material, in particular apartment buildings which were destroyed and private properties. No casualties were reported.

Two Russian airports have suspended flights

As for Russia, several airports, at least two, Vnukovo and Domodedovo in Moscow, had to suspend flights while the Ukrainian army launched nearly 70 drones, half of which were over Moscow, underlines the Russian media Ria Novosti.

Of these 70 drones, 34 were destroyed over the Moscow region, 14 over Bryansk, seven over Orel and seven over Kaluga, six over Kursk and two over above Tula.

Damage has also been reported in Russia. According to Governor Andrei Vorobyov “two houses caught fire in the village of Stanovoe, Ramensky urban district, due to falling debris. A 52-year-old woman was injured by a shrapnel and was taken to hospital with burns .”
