“We all thought he was dead.”

“He appeared among the debris in the bulldozer bucket when we all thought he was dead […] He emerged from the rubble, barely breathing, after 14 hours” under the debris, his uncle said, as reported by Le Parisien.

Quickly transported to Saida hospital, the little boy was plunged into an artificial coma after the amputation of his right hand and was placed on a respirator. At present, he is still asleep and will have to undergo another operation in Beirut when he wakes up.
