Rivaldo Insists Vinicius Jr. Will One Day Win Ballon d’Or

Rivaldo has expressed his belief that Vinicius Jr. will eventually lift the prized Ballon d’Or trophy, encouraging the young talent to refocus on his game at Real Madrid after a tough run of matches.

During a recent interview, the Brazilian legend stressed that the noise surrounding the Ballon d’Or needs to be put aside, as Vinicius focuses on his form. “Vinicius needs to put the Ballon d’Or chatter out of his mind, get back to his roots and start performing at his best for Real Madrid, especially as they look to bounce back from two disappointing defeats,” Rivaldo said .

Rivaldo expressed optimism about Vinicius’ potential, saying: “He is still young and has the skills to turn the tide. One day we will see him as a Ballon d’Or winner. He has the ability to be the best in the world, possibly several times over.” The two-time FIFA World Cup champion then questioned the voting process, noting: “Do all journalists who vote really understand football? Are they all qualified to make such judgments?” Although Rivaldo recognizes Rodri as a player he admires, he argued that Vinicius was more deserving of the award this year, showing his respect for Rodri’s contributions on the pitch.
