This is the eighth edition of Lengué d’or and we said to ourselves that we have to bring something new. The first novelty is that this ceremony is now internationalized and will see the participation of others from the sub-region. The objective is also to make Guinea the center of the African Merit Award. We fight with the means at hand with difficulties, but it is our passion, my team and me. We created the sports reconversion prize. It started from the observation that many of our former athletes have difficulty ensuring their post-career. This is one of the great innovations, there is also the prize for the best female and male hopeful ” explains Aboubacar Kamissoko.

Among the nominated players are Milo FC players like Abdoulaye Yonta who now plays in Tanzania, Alhassane Iyangha Camara from Hafia, and women’s football players, as well as the trophy for the best coach of the year and referees. The winners will be chosen through voting. The ceremony is scheduled for this Saturday, November 9 at 7 p.m. in Conakry, during a dinner.
