Investors are present in Fontainebleau. A 25 m² studio can be purchased for 120,000 euros and rented for 600 euros. Daïnée Maurice, from Espaces Apolitiques, explains that « demand mainly comes from families leaving Paris or the nearby suburbs to settle in a house with a garden, either close to the city center and the International High School, or near Avon station. » In the city center, a 130 m² house on three levels, renovated with a 100 m² garden, was sold for 600,000 euros. “The average price of a house is around 4,500 euros per m²”, estimates Marie de Saint Périer, of the Barnes agency. Elsewhere, ” we gain in surface area, at 3,500 euros per m²”, concludes Thibault Kara.
