She searches for her son’s attackers on Facebook after they left him for dead

Investigation – A mother launched a call for witnesses on Facebook after the attack on her 19-year-old son leaving a nightclub in Dijon (Côte-d’Or)

A mother’s message denouncing her son’s assault has been shared 2,500 times since Sunday, when it was published on Facebook. The 19-year-old young man was brutally attacked by strangers in Dijon (Côte-d’Or), reports The Public Good. She is looking for the “group of four or six people” who attacked him during the night from Saturday to Sunday and has launched a call for witnesses accompanied by a photo of her son on his hospital bed.

The latter explains having been accosted by strangers in the street, after an evening at a nightclub. They demanded his cell phone and wallet. “I was kicked in the face five or six times and lost consciousness,” he described. The attackers reportedly fled with his personal belongings before he regained consciousness. His eyes were so blistered from the beating that he could hardly even see. He managed to return to the nightclub where he had spent the evening to find help.

“It could have ended badly”

Hospitalized, he received ten days of ITT. He has bruises all over his body. “It could have ended badly, they beat him up and left him for dead,” his mother confided to our colleagues.
