Artillery, drones, and even missiles since August 2024: while Ukraine constantly asks its allies for military aid, the country also produces its own weapons in large numbers. Since the start of the large-scale invasion, its defense industry has multiplied. In the first half of this year, it produced 25 times more ammunition than in all of 2022, it is capable of producing 4 million drones per year, and has started manufacturing standard-compliant 155mm ammunition of NATO. At prototype stage in 2022, up to eight Bohdana howitzers, similar to the French Caesar, come off Ukrainian production lines each month.
