During the general meeting of festival committee of Bosroumois (Eure) on September 27, 2024, Pierrette Sénécal presented her resignation from presidency of the association. This information had already been known for some time.

“It was a great adventure for me, great encounters, with a municipality that always listens. I thank all the people and volunteers who have helped me over the years. I have had a lot of fun getting involved in the village festival for 12 yearsincluding seven years as president of the festival committee. I will continue, if given the opportunity, to help and participate in the organization of events, without making any decisions. You have to know how to leave your responsibilities one day to see other horizons. I will not forget the good times spent together,” says Pierrette. She specifies that to run this type of association, it is necessary to acquire a lot of knowledge in terms of regulations and recalls the valuable help given to her by the Federation of Festival Committees, the FNCOF.

The new festival committee elected its president, Élodie Godierand the office: vice-presidents Jean-Sébastien Lefrileux and Gilles Crevon, treasurer Nadine Vigé, assistant treasurer Stéphane Godier, secretary Élodie Crevon, assistant secretary Mélanie Lefrileux.

Loto, Christmas market, Miss Bosroumois

The November 17, a lotus for all lovers of beautiful surprises. On December 20, the Christmas market with Santa Claus and his sleigh for the happiness of the children. Young farmers from Roumois will be present for a parade of illuminated tractors.

The new committee will not organize a New Year's Eve meal: “We don't have enough time to prepare for the end of the year, we'll see for 2025! » declares the new president.

For 2025, an all-purpose fair in April, the date of which will soon be fixed, between April and May, a bike rally with games for the little ones. A karaoke on April 30 is planned with an aperitif board as a meal.

The election of Miss Bosroumois will be held, like this year, on the last Saturday of June, the day before St. Peter's Day.
