Firefighters intervened to put out a fire in Rouen on the evening of Tuesday, November 5. The “El Jasmin” kebab restaurant was heavily damaged by the flames.

It was around 9 p.m. when firefighters were called to intervene on a fire which began to devastate the kebab restaurant “El Jasmin”, located in the Saint-Clément district, on the left bank, near the Rouen plant garden.
The restaurant is well known to Rouen residents because it is regularly named the best kebab in the department. by a specialized site.
Before help arrived, staff and customers evacuated the ground floor. To extinguish the flames, a major effort was put in place: three engines and 13 firefighters were deployed to the scene. The police are also present.
The source of the fire was finally extinguished using a fire hose, but part of the restaurant's roof was burned. “The fire caused material damage, causing technical unemployment for five people“, the Sdis (Departmental Fire and Rescue Service) told us.
Thanks to the speed of the rescue and the responsiveness of the staff, there were no casualties. An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of this fire.
