Star Wars Outlaws: A big update is coming!

Ubisoft launches a big update for Star Wars Outlawswith tweaks that promise to transform the experience. Available on November 21, this version 1.4 comes with the first DLC, Wild Card, and coincides with the arrival of the game on Steam. Ubisoft is clearly looking to breathe new life into this galactic adventure which, it must be said, has not gotten off to a flying start since its launch this summer.

The first big change: combat. As of this update, the clashes become more strategic and immersive. No more approximate actions! Ubisoft has reworked the mechanics to reward player precision and tactics. The result? A more intense and captivating combat experience, which finally gives the sensation of being in the heart of an intergalactic battle.

At the same time, the stealth mode, criticized at launch, receives a complete facelift. Enemy detection becomes more consistent, making infiltration more natural and fluid. And that’s not all: the artificial intelligence of the opponents adapts to offer varied options in confrontations. Fans of stealth will find something to satisfy their desire for strategy.

The handling of Kay and Nix has also been refined. Controls are now more responsive, cover more reliable, and progression through the environment becomes smoother. Player feedback, particularly on Reddit and social networks, played a key role in these adjustments, proof that Ubisoft really wants to improve the gaming experience.

The icing on the lightsaber, the Wild Card DLC arrives the same day. Nix and Kat dive into a Sabacc tournament where they will come across Lando Calrissian. This is an opportunity for Ubisoft to expand the Outlaws universe with additional intrigue and a hint of well-balanced tension.

And Ubisoft doesn’t stop there. The update also includes free content for players. A gesture that shows the studio’s desire to develop Outlaws and reconnect with its community. Ubisoft seems determined to learn from its mistakes and prove that it can bounce back.
