As the American capital prepares for an evening of high tension following the presidential elections, several incidents have already occurred, notably in front of the Capitol in Washington.
According to information from BNO News, a man “smelling of fuel” and carrying a torch and a flare gun (which sends out flares) was arrested at the Capitol.
In Michigan, a 25-year-old man was also arrested after threatening to carry out an attack if Donald Trump won, CNN reports.
The young man, named Isaac Sissel, sent his threat to the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center in West Virginia. In it, he said he was going to “lead an attack on conservative Christ-like filth if Trump wins the election.”
“I have a stolen Ar15 and a target that I refuse to name so that I can continue to carry out my plans,” the threatening letter further states. “Without a specific victim or the ability to find where I hid the gun, there is nothing the FBI can do until I complete the attack,” he continued.
