The Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat Valenciana has established pre-emergency level 3 in the face of the risk of forest fires. This is the extreme level throughout the Valencian territory, due to the emergency situation declared in the Valencian Community due to the devastating consequences of the DANA which hit the province of Valencia hard.
For this reason, it is completely prohibited to carry out agricultural burning, even if you have authorization. It should be remembered that once the ban on agricultural burning is lifted until October 15, to carry out this action it is necessary to review the current state of alert on the risks of fires in the Conselleria.
Due to the situation in Valencia, the Data available on the website of the Valencian Emergency Service, they predict that the pre-emergency level will remain like this today, November 5, and tomorrow, November 6, since this Information is only provided for two days.
As expected, the situation could last longer so as not to overwhelm emergency teams who are dedicated to mitigating the damage caused by DANA in other tasks. Currently, there is no deadline for the pre-emergency level and, therefore, for the ban on agricultural burning.
