Crossing the Ukrainian border is far from easy. Even when you are a convoy marked “humanitarian aid”. Immersion report, with Acting together in Ukraine, the Chamalières association (Puy-de-Dôme)
Crossing the Ukrainian border is far, very far from being easy… Everything must be recorded beforehand, such as the weight of the trucks with their load. If it exceeds, fine. The material must also be registered with the receiving associations, who must send back documents for the convoys to enter Ukraine. Each package, each object, must be carefully labeled, traced, etc. The slightest missing document and it's a U-turn.
But each convoy has its share of surprises. Since April, a new “administrative” stage, very opaque, has been added. This is a “pre-check”, on the Polish side, before trying your luck at border customs. Along the way, you have to shed a few dozen euros. With each convoy, the rules now become more and more restrictive.
