Note that nearly 80 million Americans, including Kamala Harris, have already voted early, or a third of the electorate.
This American presidential election pits two figures with radically different backgrounds and visions against each other. On one side, Kamala Harris, current Democratic vice-president, who succeeded Joe Biden last July as Democratic candidate. At 60, she could become the first woman to occupy the presidency of the world's leading power.
