Thomas and Nicolas were five years apart. One was still studying at the Lycée du Dauphiné in Romans-sur-Isère when the other, who had also attended this technical establishment, was beginning his professional life in mass distribution. The first, aged 16, was at a ball in Crépol, a village in the Drôme des Collines. The second, aged 22, at the entrance to a nightclub, Le Seven, five kilometers from Valence. Disturbing coincidence, these young people who knew each other by sight were licensed at the Romans-Péage Rugby Club. And surrounded by their rugby player friends during a festive evening, before it turns into drama.
