A 19-year-old young man is in police custody in Marseille this Monday evening, four days later the shooting which left one dead and two seriously injured in front of the Seven nightclub in Saint-Péray, Ardèche, on Halloween night. According to a source close to the investigation, it concerns a young person in possession of Italian identity papers. He is unknown to the Police under this identity but investigators must verify whether these are his real papers or false ones recovered in recent hours.
Questioned by Bac Nord on a deal point
This young person was arrested around 6 p.m. this Monday, by the BAC Nord on a deal point, in the Bricarde district, near Castellane. It is one of the cities in the northern districts of Marseille, on the border between the 15th and 16th arrondissements, often cited as the most difficult districts of the city. Marseille police officers intervened at the request of Valence investigators who are managing the investigation.
An accomplice in Cavaillon
The DCOS police officers (formerly PJ) of Valence managed to arrest a second suspect in this shooting. A 23-year-old boy who was in an apartment in Cavaillon in Vaucluse. He was arrested around 9 p.m. this Monday. This young man, already known for drug cases, is suspected of complicity with the shooter.
Burnt car
This second young man arrested in Vaucluse could be the driver of the car in which the shooter got into after opening fire on the young people who were waiting in front of the Ardèche nightclub. This vehicle was found burned this Sunday in Valencia by the police. The two men are in police custody this Monday.
