Two suspects were arrested after the death of Nicolas, a 22-year-old young man, killed on the night of Thursday October 31 to Friday November 1 in Ardèche, franceinfo learned on Monday from a source close to the investigation.

A first individual was arrested by the BAC in , with Italian identity papers, according to the same source to franceinfo. The arrest took place at a deal point in the Bricarde district around 6 p.m. Monday. He is 19 years old. His arrest was made at the request of Drôme investigators. The second suspect was arrested at his home by the Drôme police, in , in , he is 23 years old.

The victim was injured, seriously in the head, during a shooting in the parking lot of the Le Seven nightclub in Saint-Péray, near Valence, before succumbing to his injuries. The young rugby player was from Romans-sur-Isère, he played for the Rugby club Romanais Pérouges (RCRP).
