It goes to show that leaving nothing to your opponent for a whole half, inflicting 18 points on them without conceding a single one is not always enough to win. It was yesterday again the opposition of mobility on the Villecomtal – Rabastens side to a much more physical Adé XV. Reducing a lot of kilos requires going into defense, that's what the OVR players did but leaving strength and lucidity in the second half, especially with the contribution of the Adéen bench.

In two penalties (2nd, 12th), Yann Roche put his team in front and on the right track, which led to the try scored by Bastien Pédauga, a pillar often invited into the offshore game. He followed the movement initiated by a quickly played penalty well. On the sidelines, Julien Dominguez spun before finding Pédauga inside (11-0.17th). The OVR would increase its lead after half an hour of play. It was the forwards who stood out with Julien Dominguez and Samuel Da Costa. The third row pair opened the door to the 9th forward who, like a good number 9, threw himself into the in-goal. The try scored acrobatically by Lucas Estérez (29th) ratified local control of the match. In his few reactions, Adé showed great clumsiness, dropping no less than five balls in the scoring zone, including three near half-time. In this place, the defensive sector of the OVR hit the mark. It will be less efficient after the break. The count of missed tackles is long. They did poorly with the restarts of Flavien Boya who put into practice the recommendations of coach Mathieu Boyrie in the circle during the citrus break.

The OVR's faults converted into penalties allowed Damien Carassus's first try to take place, which he would convert. A repeated situation which would twice again experience waste. Flavien Boya resumed his rolling races. One of them had to finish queen against a defense which was fading (50th). Marker replacing him but also a smart passer to send Grégoire Fritz to flatten Bigourdan's third try (67th). Damien Carassus' transformation put Adé in front (18-21, 68th).

The OVR had to return to the mark but it was a little wrong in its playing options as coaches David Gatti and Jean-Michel Drigou agreed: “We wanted to play like them whereas every time you You moved the game, they were in danger.” Saving themselves from the draw (21-21, 71st), expecting victory, it was the job of the scorers who both had the match ball at the tip of their feet (75th, 78th). Nothing happened despite the beautiful trajectories imposed on the oval. The draw is overall fair, each team had its half-time.
