Eden was very shy and spent her time hiding at the shelter.
While the other cat was quickly adopted, Eden's stay at the shelter extended. She continued to hide, very frightened by her new environment.
They do everything to help him
The rescuers were determined to help him feel confident.
They bought her a scratching post just for her. Eden was immediately attracted to the scratching post and began to accept contact.
This is the first time rescuers were able to approach her and have an interaction with her. They were then able to confirm what they suspected: Eden was pregnant.
Rescuer Heidi offered to take the cat in as a foster family.
She gives birth in the night
The night Eden arrived at her foster home, she lay next to Heidi. She went into labor during the night.
The next day, her three little kittens were nursing happily.
During the first few days, Eden needed a lot of help and encouragement to stay in the nest and feed her kittens.
Thanks to Heidi's attention and the food served in bed, Eden began to trust her host mother a little more each day.
Today, this beautiful family is thriving in an environment filled with love and comfort!
