But a few days before boarding, the company Life at Sea, organizer of the trip, announced the first bad news:
the departure initially planned for Miami, United States, would take place in the Bahamas. A slight setback for Meredith, until, unfortunately, the cruise is permanently canceled. Miray Cruises, which owns Life at Sea, was experiencing financial problems and was no longer able to rent the ship for the trip. Vedat Ugurlu, owner of the company, also spoke about the incidents in the Middle East, but promised to reimburse all passengers.

Despite her disappointment, Meredith refused to give up. Rather than feeling sorry for herself, she decided to take this mishap philosophically.
