Tourists enjoy the last day of vacation in Pornichet

The sky is cloudy and gray this last weekend of All Saints’ Day holidays in -Atlantique. Several families are having fun on Libraires beach in Pornichet. Julien makes sandcastles with his two sons. “We were lucky even though it was gray. We can walk to the beach, do a little sport, go for a walk with the children.” Under the gaze of Paul, the grandfather who is lucky enough to live there all year round. “They enjoy the beach because they don’t have the chance to have it every day.” The little family will head back to this Sunday.

Last stroll by the sea of ​​this long weekend also for Julie and Olivia, two Parisian friends.“It gives us a change of scenery, far from the pollution of Paris. We enjoy the sea air,” the young women are having fun. They are walking Tobby, a little French bulldog. “He’s not used to walking on sand, he’s happy,” says its owner. She wears a hat to protect herself from the cold and her pet, a small down jacket. “I don’t know if I did the right thing by putting it on him, but I thought it was cute,” jokes the Parisian who is leaving for a four-hour drive this Sunday. It's the end of the holidays.
