Audi adds an entry-level version to the A6 e-tron, with an 83 kWh battery instead of 100 kWh. But the careful aerodynamics allow you to maintain a good autonomy.
A few weeks after the opening of order books, Audi is expanding the A6 e-tron range, the 100% electric road car being available as a Sportback and an Avant station wagon.
As a reminder, the car started with a “performance” version of 367 hp and a sporty S6 e-tron of 503 hp. These two variants are equipped with a 100 kW battery (gross, 94.9 kWh net).
The model, designed on the new PPE platform dedicated to electricity (and shared with Porsche), moves down the range. The base model has a 210 kW rear motor (240 kW peak with Launch Control). It is associated with a smaller battery, which announces 83 kWh in gross capacity and 75.8 kWh in net capacity.

But the A6 is a sedan with very studied aerodynamics. It therefore maintains a very good autonomy in this configuration, since the Sportback still announces 627 km. L'Avant is 598 km away. In addition, we remain on an 800V architecture, which still allows us to have good charging power, up to 225 kW. The car can thus regain up to 260 km of autonomy in 10 minutes!
This is not the only new addition to the range. Audi adds a Quattro variant more accessible than the S6, here with 315 kW. We find the largest battery, which gives a range of 715 km in the WLTP mixed cycle for the Sportback (685 km for the Avant).
French prices are not yet known, but this will not be long.
