Judicial investigation
The firefighters sent nine men and four machines to the scene, including a team specializing in water rescue and diving, in order to recover the body in good condition. “rigor mortis”.
SMUR, port police and municipal police were called to the scene. The identity of the individual, a man aged between 25 and 30, remains unknown according to police. Emergency services left the scene around 5:40 p.m.
A judicial investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the death. Searches for clues were carried out by divers at the request of the police. The SMUR doctor noted the death and “posed a medico-legal obstacle”which implies that the death would not be accidental. But no lead has yet been favored, says a police source.
