Testimony They lived about ten kilometers from each other before the war, separated by a wall: Tala, a Palestinian from Gaza City, and Michelle, an Israeli from Sderot. The two law students, displaced by the conflict, agreed to talk. In this letter, Tala tells Michelle the pain of her infinite exile. Writing became his means of resistance.

Hi Michelle,
I'm happy to hear from you. I thought about you a lot, but I found it difficult to write, to still justify my suffering or the actions of this or that member of my people. The situation is unbearable for me.

The bombings did not stop. The entire gang faces continuous attacks. Particularly in Jabaliya [dans le nord de l’enclave palestinienne]where the population is under siege.

I completely agree that this is the longest war of all time. I never imagined surviving a year of continuous atrocities, an army that kills women, children, the elderly. We are all targets…
