The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, arrived yesterday afternoon in Algiers for a two-day official visit, at the invitation of his counterpart, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This visit is part of the celebrations of the 1is November, which commemorate the 70e anniversary of the outbreak of the Revolution Algerian.
Welcomed by his Algerian counterpart, Kaïs Saïed was received in an atmosphere of respect and fraternity, testifying to the deep ties between the two nations.
This visit follows an official invitation transmitted by the Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, during his visit to Tunisia on October 17.
A symbol of brotherhood and cooperation
A visit which was followed by a second exchange between the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ali Nafti, and his Algerian counterpart, Ahmed Attaf. Indeed, Mohamed Ali Nafti visited Algeria on October 19 and 20, 2024, during which he met Ahmed Attaf to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and joint projects.
The visit of President Kaïs Saïed to Algeria takes on a particular dimension, recalling the historical and fraternal ties which unite the two countries and their peoples. By paying tribute to the martyrs of this revolution, Presidents Saïed and Tebboune celebrate a common heritage of fraternity and solidarity which continues to unite their two peoples. This commemoration of 1is November will be marked by a military parade.
