On the eve of the Ligue 1 match between the two teams, it is already possible to define the main trends for the PSG/Lens compositions. No madness expected on the Parisian side while the Lensois have two uncertain starters.
Before facing Atlético Madrid next Wednesday in the Champions League, PSG will host Lens this Saturday in the shock of the 10th day of Ligue 1 (5 p.m.), six days after quietly winning 3-0 on the pitch of OM. The Parisian infirmary has not been filled since last weekend and only Presnel KimpembeGonçalo Ramos and Luke Hernandez should be missing, in addition to Lucas Beraldosuspended, but who is not a regular starter.
For this lineup against Lens, best defense in Ligue 1 with Monaco (only 6 goals conceded) Luis Enrique will line up his best team and could be tempted to repeat the eleven that started against OM, especially as the next match against Atlético will not be played until four days later.
Just one change compared to the eleven against OM?
Luis Enrique having never fielded the same team twice in a row this season, a change cannot however be ruled out, particularly in attack. Used in a central role in Marseille, Ousmane Dembélé could find his right wing and Marco Asensio has a good chance of digitally replacing Lee Kang-in. If Nuno Mendes left in the 50th minute against OM due to stomach aches, the Portuguese left-back trained normally this week and should hold his place against Lens on Saturday.
The probable composition of PSG against Lens: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Nuno Mendes – Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Neves – Dembélé, Asensio, Barcola
Two uncertain starters on the Lens side
On the RC Lens side, Will Still will notably be deprived of his Argentinian central defender Facundo Medinasuspended, which he had lined up exceptionally in front of the defense last Saturday against Lille. Lens has been playing 3-5-2 since the start of the season and will not normally change system against PSG.
Also deprived of six injured players, including Angelo Fulgini, Will Still has two important players who are doubtful for this match: midfielder Andy Diouf and its right piston Przemyslaw Frankowski. If the former is unable to hold his place, Neil El Aynaoui could replace him in the midfield. Tommy Pouilly had replaced Frankowski after his injury against Lille and will do so again on Saturday if the Pole is too fair.
The probable composition of Lens against PSG: Samba – Gradit, Danso, Khusanov – Frankowski or Pouilly, Thomasson, Diouf or El Aynaoui, Machado – Zaroury – Nzola, Sotoca or Labeau-Lascary
