The “Tourism and Culture” section of the Graulhétois Artistic Awakening is organizing its 52nd departmental photographic art fair from November 29 to December 14, the Basane d’Or 2024. This photo competition is aimed at all regional amateur photographers at the exclusion of professionals.
Two themes were chosen for this year. The shoe or the old mechanics, the authors are responsible for the authorization of the image rights. Each participant is free to present a maximum of 4 photos in black and white or color, on film or digital media in the format of 30 x 45 cm, including framing. Only photos of excellent technical and artistic quality will be exhibited. No photo already exhibited at a Basane d’Or will be accepted.
A jury composed of three photography and visual arts professionals will determine the various awards. Basane d’Or Prize in black and white, color and the Prize for Artistic Awakening.
Registration forms must arrive no later than November 15 at Geneviève Ribes at 19 rue du Colonel Naudy 81300 Graulhet, accompanied by a commitment fee of 10 euros by check payable to l’Éveil Artistique. The reception of the works will take place on Wednesday, November 27 at the Halle des ARTS, Salle de la FAR, rue du Général Sudre from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 to 5 p.m. The collection of the works will take place on Saturday, December 14 at from 5:30 p.m., FAR room.
